We need your help

This project deals with a very large amount of life-science information. Expert feedback and collaboration are what will make it as good as it can be.

How to contribute

• Improve the evidence: Critique references or suggest additional publications to be added. Counter-evidence is stored on the record alongside supporting papers, not filtered out.
• Report mistakes or missing information: Any incorrect claim needs to be addressed. Every section has a button that lets registered users send specific feedback. These are the most valuable reports we get, and they are reviewed and acted on.
• Contribute your knowledge: Read one area against your own knowledge — a fatty-acid family, a metabolic pathway, the metabolite set — and tell us what is missing, overstated or out of date. If you work in lipid biochemistry, nutrition science, dietetics or food science, this is where you are worth the most.
• Help with the code: The visual tools — the pathway canvas, the 2D renderer, the 3D models — are being prepared for open-source release. If you want to use one, or join in and collaborate please get in touch.
• Early testing: To see what we are working on before it is released and give feedback, create an account and tick “I’m potentially open to collaborate and contribute” on the registration form, then tell us a little about yourself. Preview access is granted case by case, and it is free.
• Join the team: We're looking for major collaborations and contributors to take leadership roles in this project. Let us know who you are and how you can help.
• Something else: If you can help in a way we have not thought of, tell us.
